"What a great relief to have a partner in figuring out what felt like a monstrous, unknowable task.”

Maybe your website feels outdated, or you’re wasting time on repetitive tasks.

It’s time to take back control of your tech.

Maybe you’re looking at your bank account wondering what all those software subscriptions are actually doing for you.

The digital tools that get the job done when you’re just starting out can start to strain as your success grows. Before you know it, you’re working around your tech instead of having tech that works for you.

Digital Growing Pains?

PART STRATEGIST. PART BUILDER. PART INTERNET GREMLIN SLAYER.

You can call me Ky

Hi, I'm Kyan Lynch

Smiling man with short dark hair and a beard, wearing a light blue sweater. He is set against a dark blue background, conveying a warm, friendly tone.

I'm curious by nature and a problem solver at heart.

I love making sense of messy ideas, asking good questions, and finding practical ways to move things forward.

I'm kind of like a walking "there has to be a better way!" infomercial.

If you'd like to know more about me, my About page has the full story.

For now, let's get back to your good work.

Here's what the right setup can do for you:

Save hours of manual labor every week

Cut unnecessary software costs

Stop stressing about tech meltdowns interrupting your work

Make client experiences smoother (and get fewer complaints)

Build something off-the-shelf tools can’t do

Catch problems before they become emergencies

Turn “could we?” into “yes, we can.”

Here are a few real examples of the kinds of projects I take on:

Audit your tech stack and find ways to cut costs, reduce redundancy, and lower risk

Automate a manual workflow that’s eating hours every week

Migrate a course, membership, or client portal to a better-fit platform

Fix broken or confusing integrations

Build a custom tool, calculator, client feature, or lightweight web app

Set up the tech behind a conference, event, or special launch

Don’t see your exact situation here? No problem. Tell me what’s going on, and we’ll take it from there.

What does Tech Help actually look like?

If yours isn’t here, don’t worry. I could only put so many colorful circles on this page.

Besides, I care a lot more about figuring out how your setup works than forcing you into the tools I already know.

Let's Talk Tech

How Tech Help Works

Sometimes you need a quick fix. Sometimes you need a bigger build.

Sometimes you just need someone to look at the whole setup and tell you what makes sense.

Tech Help is $150/hour.

Before I start, we’ll get clear on what you’re trying to solve, what I think it will take, and what it’s likely to cost.

I won’t charge you anything until we’ve agreed on the scope and cost.

If the scope changes, I’ll tell you before I keep going.

If I think there’s a simpler or cheaper way to solve the problem, I’ll tell you that too.

And if I’m not the right person for it, I’ll say so.

No mystery invoices. No running up the clock. No pretending a five-minute fix needs a five-hour project.

For ongoing help, some clients keep a monthly retainer so they’re guaranteed a certain number of hours with me each month.

Not sure how many hours you need? Good. That’s my job to figure out.

~ Amy Maricle, Owner, Mindful Art Studio

Good tech help with someone who is an excellent communicator, is reliable, and who delivers on time is hard to come by. I highly recommend Ky.

~ Dezeray Distasio, Member Happiness Facilitator at Mindful Art Studio

“He helped improve the look of our courses on Circle, audited our plug-ins, and is now our go-to tech support. I can’t say enough good things about him!”

A real-life Tech Help example

A smiling woman sits at a table drawing abstract designs on small cards. She holds a pen, and more illustrated cards are spread in front of her. Behind her is a bookshelf, and the Mindful Art Studio logo is displayed in the corner.

Amy runs Mindful Art Studio, an art membership with thousands of students. She needed to migrate access for her à la carte classes into the membership so students could use one login for all of her content.

Simple goal. Not-so-simple setup.

With different students needing different levels of access, the migration had to happen carefully and in stages.

So we mapped the whole thing out before touching anything.

I created a step-by-step migration plan, translated the technical pieces into plain English, and tested the process with smaller groups before rolling it out more widely.

The first two test groups migrated successfully, giving us a proven process for the rest.

Thousands of students. Multiple access levels.
Zero room for a tech disaster.

Do great things, help people, and live a good life.

Do I need to know exactly what I need before I contact you?

Nope.

You can come to me with a specific problem, a vague “there has to be a better way” feeling, or an idea you’re not even sure is technically possible yet.

Tell me what’s happening now, what you wish were happening instead, and I’ll help you figure out the next step.

What don’t you do?

I’m probably not the right person if you need someone to be permanently on call, manage your social media, or handle ongoing content-posting tasks like blog uploads and routine copy edits.

I’m at my best when there’s a problem to solve, a system to improve, something to build, or a technical project that needs both strategy and implementation.

Can you help with events or conferences?

Yes.

I can support the technical side of conferences, workshops, launches, and special events, including setup, systems, registration flows, integrations, troubleshooting, and whatever else needs to work behind the scenes.

The exact support depends on the event, so this is one where I’d want to hear what you’re planning before I tell you what makes sense.

Can you help with courses, memberships, and client portals?

Yes.

I can help with platform setup, migrations, access logic, integrations, automations, troubleshooting, and improving the experience for both you and the people using it.

If you’re moving a lot of people or content between systems, I’ll also help plan the migration carefully so we’re not creating avoidable chaos.

Can you build something custom?

Yes.

That might mean a custom calculator, client feature, lightweight web app, database, integration, internal tool, or something that doesn’t have a neat category yet.

If off-the-shelf software can solve the problem well, I’ll usually recommend that first.

If it can’t, we can talk about building what you need.

Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes.

Some clients work with me project by project. Others keep a monthly retainer so they’re guaranteed a certain number of hours with me each month.

That can work well if you regularly have systems to improve, things to build, or technical decisions you don’t want sitting on your own plate.

I’m not an on-call IT department, though. We’ll agree on what ongoing support looks like and how much time is reserved for you.

One thing is completely fine.

Sometimes Tech Help is a quick troubleshoot. Sometimes it turns into a larger systems project. Sometimes we solve the original problem and realize there’s nothing else worth touching.

I’m not interested in turning a small fix into a giant engagement just because I can.

Can you just fix one thing, or does this have to become a big project?

Can you work with the tools I already use?

Very likely.

I’ve worked across a wide range of platforms, automation tools, membership systems, databases, website builders, and custom setups.

More importantly, I’m not going to force you into my favorite software just because I already know it. I’ll look at what you’re using, how it works together, and whether it actually makes sense for your goals.

If I think you should keep what you have, I’ll tell you that. If I think there’s a better-fit option, I’ll explain why.

What if my problem turns out to be bigger than expected?

Then we talk about it before I keep going.

If I uncover something that changes the scope, timeline, or cost, I’ll let you know what I found and what I recommend.

You won’t get a surprise invoice because I quietly spent ten extra hours fixing something we never discussed.

Can you help me choose new software?

Absolutely.

In fact, sometimes the best Tech Help is figuring out that you don’t need another tool at all.

I can help you compare options, think through tradeoffs, choose software that fits your goals and comfort level, and get it configured properly.

The goal is not to build the fanciest tech stack. It’s to build one that actually makes your work easier.

No problem! Send me a message and I’ll clear things up.
