Here's what stands out to me after reading your answers.

My Two Cents: Explore the Possibilities

Before you commit to one idea, make sure you've explored your options.

Based on your answers, your biggest opportunity right now is choosing a direction that fits you, not just the first one that comes to mind.

From everything you told me, you may:

  • Feel drawn to sharing your expertise but aren't sure what that could look like
  • Assume your options are limited to things like an online course or social media
  • Have ideas that don't quite feel right, but no obvious alternative
  • Feel pressure to choose a direction before you're ready

If any of that sounds familiar, you're not alone.

Most people start by trying to figure out what they should create.

Often, the better question is:

"How do I actually want to help?"

What I'm seeing

You might spend months building a course when a workshop would have been more effective.

Start posting on social media because that's what everyone says you should do, even though you hate being glued to your phone.

Commit to offering ongoing 1:1 support when what you really want is a way to help more people without giving up more of your time.

The best way to move forward isn't just the option that helps other people.

It's the option that works for you, too.

Why I think this matters

By this point, you've probably spent some time talking to people and exploring what's already out there.

That's super valuable.

You've likely learned something about the people you want to help, the challenges they're facing, and the kinds of support that already exist.

Now it's time to consider your own preferences and get creative.

There are often many different ways to solve the same problem. The goal is to find an approach that works for the people you're helping and for you.

Set aside 30 minutes and give yourself permission to think beyond specific products, platforms, or business models.

Instead, consider the kind of work you actually want to do.

Ask yourself:

  • Do I want to work closely with a small number of people, or reach thousands at the same time?

  • Do I want to create resources upfront, or develop them over time as I work with people?

  • Do I enjoy teaching live, or would I rather create something people can access on their own schedule?

  • Do I want to be highly involved in delivering the experience, or create something that can help people without me being present?

  • Do I want this to fit around my current work, or become a bigger part of my professional life?

  • What would a sustainable version of this look like for me?

Once you've answered those questions, don't stop at your first idea.

Come up with at least three different ways you could share your expertise that fit your answers.

Then go looking for examples.

Not because you should copy what someone else is doing.

Because you can't choose from options you don't know exist.

If I were you...

You don't need to pick the "perfect" one.

You need to understand which opportunity makes the most sense for you.

In Start with a Plan, we'll map out your options, identify the opportunities with the most potential, and choose a direction that fits your strengths, your audience, and the kind of business you actually want to build.

Too many good ideas?
